Description

All commercial interiors created for retail sales including shopping centres, shops, showrooms, and markets.

Restaurant
Description

Restaurants, bars, lounges, and cafes either freestanding or within a building.

Institutional
Description

Interior projects within institutional environments such as universities, schools, museums, religious facilities, art galleries, airports, government buildings.

Special Feature
Description

Design of a feature element within a space such as a staircase, elevator, fireplace, millwork reception desk, wall or ceiling feature.

Peoples Choice Award
Description

All project submissions will be automatically entered for the People's Choice Award which will be chosen by public vote.

Health & Wellness
Description

Facilities dedicated to improving overall health and wellbeing inside and out. This includes standalone or smaller scale medical/health and aesthetic spaces such as Doctors offices, Chiropractic offices, Dental offices, Optometry clinics, Massage & Physiotherapy clinics, Therapy and Counselling Offices, Pharmacies, Spa's, Hair/Nail Salons, and Skin Clinics.

Multi-Unit Residential
Description

New or renovated multi-unit family/senior (non-care) residential condominiums/apartments. Must includes suites, lobbies, amenity, and private function spaces created within condominiums or apartment buildings.

Residential Renovation
Description

Renovation projects for single family residences. Must include a minimum of 3 areas of the home e.g. the kitchen, living room and bathroom.

Hospitality / Recreation
Description

Hotels, lodges, casinos, theaters, gyms, swimming facilities, ice rinks and bowling alleys etc…

Residential New Construction
Office Partial/Amenity Spaces
Description

Workplaces where only a portion of the space is renovated such as a public area - e.g. reception area or lobby, meeting room, lunchroom, conference room, etc. It also includes lobbies, amenity spaces - such as lounges and fitness facilities, private function spaces and any other multi-use space available to all occupants of a commercial building.

Office Design over $250 per sq.ft.
Description

Office space constructed over $250.00 per square foot excluding furnishings or consultant fees. Must include images of non-public spaces – workspaces (open and closed), reception areas, meeting rooms, lounge and lunchrooms, boardroom, etc. to represent the entire project. This category requires the inclusion of all workplace represented on the submitted plans.
